Schol said that United need a player who can provide the best back support for Sancho, so if they can replace these two players with another world-class right back, Dortmund will get Sancho back.
Sancho moved from Borussia Dortmund to Old Trafford in the summer of 2021 for around £73m, but United are struggling because of the huge expectations that come with him.
But he has now recovered somewhat and has been playing regularly since his return to the club, scoring two goals in the Premier League last month.
Asked whether Sancho has done enough this season, Scholes told BT Sport: “I don’t think so yet. I think there is a lot more to come from him.
“Obviously there are issues the manager has to deal with,” he said. He came back and scored a couple of goals. He just needs the right players around him.
‘Remember before in Dortmund, Behind him, the right-back helped all the time. He’s not a fast player, so that really helps.
“If United can find a better right-back, it could be a different situation for him.” said the school.
Antony Can use one leg to play Football
